Peter Pilotto, Antonio Berardi, Antipodium, Pringle of Scotland, Erdem, Christopher Kane, Louise Gray, Mark Fast, Giles… the list of awe inspiring designers just kept going and so without a doubt, this day deserved it’s own entry into Eat Ya Heart Out. Antonio Berardi’s show evoked a mixture of delicacy, femininity and power with sheer, floaty fabrics, shadowed silhouettes and figure hugging perfection. Dresses celebrated the female form with a touch of oriental influence, while hard-tailored suits were highly decorated with a traditional twist.
Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos’s (Peter Pilotto) vision of womenswear embraced both new and classic perspectives on elegance. The pattern wizards once again celebrated kaleidoscopic prints and sculptural shapes with meticulously mismatched separates coming together to form a ravishing effect. The fashionista crowd was transported to the tropics as glamazons strided down the runway in prints reminiscent of the flora and fauna found in jungles and rainforests.
Flower power was in full force at Erdem and what a striking sight of beauty it made! Exquisite, dainty prints combined with graceful silhouettes created a gentle feeling within Erdem Moralioglu’s collection. Various hues of blue, yellow, cream and grey produced a wonderful Spring palette, while sheer fabrics added a touch of sensuality to the mix.
