The last decade has seen a plethora of luxury fashion designers collaborating with high street stores, bringing a touch of couture to the masses. High Street giant H&M has seen the likes of Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Viktor & Rolf, Matthew Williamson and Lanvin design exclusive lines for their store and it doesn’t look like it will stop there.
On sale from November 17, Donatella Versace’s collection for H&M will be running out the doors for prices between £19.99 and £149.99. The range will take a look at the heritage of the brand, meaning flamboyant prints with a touch of glamour.
Preen, Roksanda Illincic, Jonathan Kelsey and Jonathan Saunders have collaborated with Debenhams as part of a new concept called Edition which launched in February across 31 stores from Plymouth to Glasgow.
Topshop launched their collaboration with Michael Van Der Ham during Fashion Week on September 16 at their Oxford Circus store which is also currently housing and selling a collaboration with Maria Francesca Pepe.
Sources also report that future collaborations are already in the mix with Giles Deacon at Nine West, David Beckham for H&M, Mark Fast for Aldo, Mary Katrantzou for Topshop, Karl lagerfeld for Macy’s and Gareth Pugh for MAC cosmetics. Time to Squeal girls!
