The fragrance world is ablaze with house-hold names and Tory Burch is the latest to join the ranks. Aramis and Designer Fragrances, a division of the Estée Lauder Companies and Tory Burch announced the launch of the American lifestyle brand’s first fragrance, set to debut in 2013. The partnership marks the label’s first foray into the beauty industry.
Luxurious, yet attainable and defined by the classic American sportswear, the partnership marks the label’s first foray into the beauty industry. While details of the perfume are still under wraps, it will be “of great value at an accessible price,” Tory Burch explained to WWD. She added, “For me, beauty was part of the plan since the beginning, especially fragrance . . . We wanted to establish ourselves for who we are and learn who we were, and it’s taken us seven and a half years to really understand, from where our potential is, as well, and growth around the world.”
